AmegA Sciences has pioneered the development of adjuvants for use in both the agricultural and amenity markets. An adjuvant is a substance other than water, which enhances the effectiveness of a pesticide with which it is mixed. Consent C (i) 5 under the Control of Pesticides Regulations allows that an adjuvant can be used with a pesticide only if that adjuvant is authorised and on a list published from time to time in Pesticides Monitor.
