Although pre-registration is open from June 1st to 30th November, pre-registration will be completed later in June. There are two main reasons:
1) The servers will be struggling during the early stages of pre-registration to cope with the load. This is already evident today with the website timing out.
2) To have a sizeable number of pre-SIEF's [Substance Information and Exchange Forum] to look at before making final decisions.
After substance pre-registration, a submission report is provided highlighting the substance name, EINECS number, CAS number and a submission number.
